Lissa Hirsch, M.D.
Founder
Lissa Hirsch is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with a private medical practice in Manhattan. She completed her residency at NYU Medical Center and is currently on the faculty of Lenox Hill Hospital. Lissa has consulted for a medical liability company as part of a multiple hospital quality assurance initiative concerning best practices and obstetrical outcomes. As a member of the Global Medical Brigades, she has mentored students and provided medical care in free standing clinics in Panama and Honduras.
She is a strong supporter of women's reproductive rights, both as an advocate and practitioner. She is also a member of the New York Buddy Group, whose mission is to raise political awareness and financial support for candidates in swing states.
Lissa grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the University of Wisconsin and the New Jersey School of Medicine. She is a visual artist whose work appears in group shows, film and private homes. Lissa and her husband live in New York, as do their two children and grandchildren.
